The Checkpoint recognises the need to support the selection of staff in a variety of care environments. We therefore specialise in the design and development of custom built staff support systems. These include the setting up and running of assessment centres, interview protocols, verification of references and psychometric skills evaluation.

This ensures that your staff get off to a good start, are equipped to cope with a new work environment and perform in a caring and competent manner. Right from the outset, you will have a clear idea of their development needs. These can then be addressed to ensure improved staff retention.

Nannies

The Checkpoint is not a nanny agency but we can assess the suitability of candidates where parents have made a choice subject to satisfactory enquiries having been carried out. The screening is extensive and it is recommended that parents outsource this important task to us for two reasons. First, we are specialists in this field and secondly, it enables parents and nannies to start their relationship in a positive way – we will ask all of the challenging questions for you!

Investigations

We have extensive experience in conducting enquiries in sensitive situations. The expertise of former Scotland Yard investigators who are fully attuned to the care industry is a unique service that is offered by The Checkpoint.
